Being we really don't have anywhere that will work real well to mount permanent hooks, I purchased a couple of these to hang my children's school backpacks on to keep them out of the way - off the counter tops, off the floor, etc. I figured if they should work for purses, they should work just as well for backpacks, and they most certainly do! They work PERFECTLY in the space we were hoping would work! The kids think it's cool to come home and hang their backpacks on them! A great buy for purses, backpacks, totes, etc! Can be used on a table, countertop or shelf. Very happy w/ my purchase! PERFECT!
