To paraphrase the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. "Best. Purchase. Ever." I love this. I am a huge Boston Bruins fan and made a whole wall in my man cave dedicated to them. My buddy and I (a fellow Bruins fan) joked about getting this. Well I pulled the trigger and hoped for the best.
When it arrived it was inside a large box with packing peanuts which was inside a larger box filled with packing peanuts. To say that this could survive a tornado in the middle of a category 5 hurricane during an earthquake is an understatement.
As soon as I opened it up I had to tap it because from the front it looks like the real thing (as far as someone who has never seen nor would like to see a real bear up close and personal would know). Everything from the eyes, the nose, the fur, the snout, even the tan eyebrows looks real.
It is easy to mount too. There is a hole with a metal mount already drilled for you. All I did was drill a hole in the wall, hammered in an anchor, put a screw in the anchor, then hung it up on the screw.
As far as value, I would have had to think long and hard if it were over $50. Now that I have it I would have to think long and hard if it were over $75.
Also, it was a great conversation starter during a Christmas party. Girls thought it was hysterical and guys were jealous.
Like I said this is a great product. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this. If you are on the fence about it, don't be. It will be the subject of jealousy to all your buddies.
