We've had our Keurig B60 about nine months now, and we've tried a number of the highest rated K-cups, so I wanted to set up subscriptions on Amazon for the varieties we want to have on hand on a regular basis.
I'd never tried Coffee People K-cups before, so I ordered the two variety packs they offer: the Extra Bold (that has five French Roast Decaf K-cups) and the Extra Bold Flavored (all "the real thing"). We will need to order three different packs per month, and I was looking for something different. At first I didn't think we'd use the decaffeinated ones, but then I realized there are times when we really want a cup of coffee at night (like the rare times we break down and buy that ice cream or cheesecake) but don't want the caffeine that late. So nothing's going to go to waste....
I am so impressed with the Coffee People coffees I've tried so far, and I know that we'll be including the Extra Bold Flavored pack in our once-monthly subscription. I haven't tried the Kafe-lua or Vanilla Avalanche yet, but if they are even half as good as the Chai Coffee and Berry Blast from that pack, I'll be in heaven.
My DH loves Tully's French Roast, which comes closest to having that "strong bite" that he was used to pre-Keurig (with the crap coffee), but I have a feeling he may decide that Coffee People's Black Tiger is at least tied for first place. I love it!
Speaking of pre-Keurig: When we first got our Keurig, we had to get used to the difference between cheap coffee brewed with unfiltered water in a Mr. Coffee and the Keurig K-cup coffees. At first, we thought the latter were awfully weak and not as flavorful. Those K-cups with very, very strong, even bitter flavors were the ones we were drawn to. After we'd been drinking K-cups a while, I had a cup of coffee in my doctor's office and realized that what we had been thinking was "strong" coffee was really coffee laden with pesticide taste--bleeccchhhhhh!!!
Now that my palate is becoming more accustomed to the good stuff, I'm beginning to be able to discriminate more between the subtle differences in these coffees. For example, the Tully's Sumatra is excellent and so is the Gloria Jean's Sumatra; however, of the two, I find the Gloria Jean's to be "earthy" while the Tully's is more "muddy."
Being able to discriminate in this way is what makes me really love the Coffee People's K-cups, because the coffees are rich and flavorful but, at the same time, smooth and balanced and not at all harsh; each has a decidedly different character. Also, the Extra Bolds lend themselves well to making a double cup using the small setting on our Keurig B60, run through the same K-cup two times. (If I feel like super-strong, I'll just run it through once. DH is a one-time brewer.)
The variety packs are a real winner, too. It's nice to be able to sample the different coffees without having to buy 50 K-cups of the same variety. Once you decide on which you are in love with, you can then buy the 50-packs of just the flavors you most prefer. What a winner....

I have been a Keurig / K-cup user for about 3 years. I have tried truck loads of different brands and flavors. I like strong, robust coffee. I do not like flavored or "weak" coffees. If you have the same taste, then "Coffee People" make the best coffees for you. They are all robust, taste great, have no bitterness, and if you want to make a larger than usual cup of coffee (if your machine can adjust the setting sizes), than these work great for that. Any of there flavors are nice.

Attention ground control. Coffee People Jet Fuel Keurig K-Cups are coming in for a landing. This brew will really get your engine running. The only Keurig K-Cup that the manufacturer refers to as XX bold (that is one X away from making the kids turn away while you enjoy a cup). If you are looking for an accurate description of Coffee People Jet Fuel Keurig K-Cups, do you remember when the bad guy drank the can of oil before arm wrestling Sly Stallone in Over the Top? Yeah, Coffee People Jet Fuel Keurig K-Cups are just like that.

Jet Fuel is our favorite of the Coffee People "extra-bold trilogy"--Jet Fuel, Wake Up Call, and Black Tiger. It's dark, sweet, and rich, with a fuller body than Wake Up Call or Black Tiger. It has a clean finish and notes of chocolate and honey.
We also love the new packaging. Since K-cups are nitrogen-packed, the coffee doesn't go stale, so the last cup is as good as the first. If there are a couple of dark-roast lovers in your family, a box of 50 will be slurped down in no time. And I have to say that, even though we store them in the back of a dark cabinet, the box graphics are a nice touch. It probably cost them a fraction of a fraction of a cent to make it a little more attractive, and I appreciate that!
When you first got your Keurig brewer, you drank through the sampler coffees... and if you asked yourself, "Is that as dark as it gets??" then I think you'll go for Jet Fuel or one of the other Coffee People EBs.
P.S. You might look into Emeril's Big Easy Bold as well. It was the first big hit for us, and still one of our faves.

This is not the normal Coffee People Extra Bold Kona Blend. I've ordered this product before and been very happy with it. When I received this I found "island blend" written in very small print at the bottom of the label- it turns out that this means it has a macadamia nut flavor added that dramatically changes the taste. Some people like flavored coffees but I can't stand them. This change isn't noted anywhere in the listing and it really needs to be.

I ordered Black Tiger by accident...I like the new(and economical)packaging of the Coffee People coffee, and meant to order the Donut Shop medium coffee in the "new box". When I tried Black tiger, I liked it.It's a bit strong, but not burned tasting.I add a little water sometimes to bring it to my taste. So I now have both Donut Shop and Black Tiger, and, love them both! And...I love my Keurig coffee maker(a Christmas gift for my husband and I from our daughter). A little bit of a luxury, but I have fresh cup of coffee every time!
